First things first

I’m an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist in Pasadena and East LA, offering virtual and in-person sessions for adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, codependency, relationships, and life transitions.

You don’t have to be in crisis to need therapy – just trying to navigate life without a meltdown counts too. I get it; reaching out can feel weird, and it’s normal to sit with the idea for a minute before taking that first step. Someone once told me, the right timing isn’t a feeling – it’s a decision. You don’t have to wait to feel ‘ready’ to take the first step. You’re already here.

On top of everything else, with the holidays coming up, life can feel a little chaotic – awkward family conversations, high expectations, and more stress than cookies can fix. This work serves as a space to hit pause, sort through what’s going on, and figure out your next move – no judgment, no pressure. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, relatable, and sometimes a little funny, because we need that too.

Whether you’re curious, hesitant, a little of both, or just wondering if it’s a good time to begin therapy, reaching out is a solid first step.

...ok fine

I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, codependency, and the broader LGBTQIA+ experience. While I work with individuals from all backgrounds, I am particularly drawn to supporting women, especially those within the queer community, recognizing the specific challenges they face. In addition to working with adults, I also work with teens and adolescents, understanding the vast importance of early support.

I believe in meeting clients where they are, to explore their emotions and unmet needs. Often, we internalize painful experiences as truths about ourselves, and part of our work together will focus on offering compassion and understanding to challenge these misrepresentations.

By exploring societal expectations and cultural norms, we can gain deeper insight into how these factors shape identity and mental health. Through our work together, we’ll create a space for healing, reflection, and transformation to help you reconnect with yourself.

It is my number one priority to ensure you feel supported as you face challenging emotions. Although this work can be complex, I believe in the importance of making space for levity and humor. Throughout the process we will explore what’s working in your life and what's not. As you actively engage in the process, I'm here to offer guidance and support while you navigate your journey towards transformation and growth.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies from UCLA, where I developed a strong foundation in intersectional thinking—an approach that considers how overlapping identities (such as race, gender, sexuality, and class) shape our experiences. I earned my master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, where I continued my work through a social justice and inclusive framework.
